Dubrovnik is situated on the Adriatic Sea cost, a Croatian city. It is one among the UNESCO world heritage site list. The city’s prosperity lie in its maritime trade. The famous festival celebrated is the yearly Dubrovnik Summer Festival which is 45 lays long celebrated with games, live concert and plays. The statue of the patron saint Sveti Vlaho is seen around the city, whose feast is celebrated on 3rd of February. The city has the oldest building called as arboretum which was built in 1492. One of the oldest pharmacy named as Little Brothers monastery streets which was originated in 1317 is still operational in this city. It was commented by George Bernard Shaw that it is the heaven in the world. There is a wooded island called as Lokrum located in the bay of Dubrovnik where the legendary Richard the Lion heart left ashore after ship wrecked in 1192. This city is also famous for the theaters.

Zagreb, capital and largest city of Croatia is situated between the southern slopes of Medvednica Mountain and northern and southern banks of Sava River. Zagreb is the cultural, economic, political and administrative center of Republic of Croatia. Its population is around 785,000. Zagreb provides an excellent link for traffic between central Europe and Adriatic Sea. Asides from hosting governmental ministries, bodies and offices, Zagreb is the center for major scientific, industrial, research and transport activities.
Besides being the largest city, it is the only city in Croatia, which has a metropolitan population exceeding 10 million people. The climate of Zagreb is subtropical humid climate with four separate seasons; summers being hot and winters being cold and with regular snowfall during December to March. Major industries in Zagreb are electrical machines and device manufacturing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food processing and chemical. Zagreb is the hub of five major highways in Croatia and majority of the highways originate or end in Zagreb. It has an international airport and an extensive network of railways and roadways. Zagreb houses many museums that reflect the art, culture and history of not only Croatia but also of Europe and the world. Zagreb is a major tourist center of Europe not only as a vital link between Central Europe and Adriatic Sea but also as a prime travel destination.
