Florence Italy

Florence is situated in the region of Tuscany, Italy. It attracts million of tourists and has world heritage site. It is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Florence is very well known for its monuments, churches, buildings and is called as the cradle of Renaissance. Santa Maria del Fiore is the cathedral known for its architectural elegance and is known as The Dumo. The famous Michelangelo collection is found at La Galleria Dell’Accademia which includes the famous David. There are several galleries and museums which includes Palatine Gallery, Royal Apartments, Modern Art Gallery, Silver Museum, Costume Gallery, Porcelain Museum and Carriages Museum. Bargello is the museum which housed the masterpieces of Michelangelo. There are also many palaces of historic importance. Despite of this the tourist can enjoy many villas, arches, squares and parks. Via Ghibellina is the longest street towards the Bargello and houses numerous palaces, shops and theatres. The most luxurious street is the Via d’Tornabuoni.

Bologna is a north Italian city and the capital city of Emilia-Romagna in the Po valley. It houses the oldest university called as University of Bologna. This city has got rich roman heritage with lot of pedestrians on the streets of Via Emilia which is a straight road. The city is famous for enriched porticos and elegant arcades. A shrine located on the top of the hill Guardia is the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca where the image of virgin of St. Luca is believed to be present. It also houses several important churches which has the historic importance with the bible. This city is awarded by the UNESCO as the city of music. This city has also got rich culinary tradition. The renowned is the meat based pasta sauce called as Bolognese sauce. The local people depend mainly on cheese and meat. Bologna celebrates several festivals which could attract tourist all through the year.

Venice Italy

Venice is a city situated in northern Italy and is very well known for its tourism and industries. It is an important centre for silk, grains and spice trade. It is the romantic city since the buildings are constructed on closely spaces wood piles since the whole area is covered with underwater. The wood does not decay under water in the absence of oxygen. This is a wonderful sight for any tourist to be in the sinking city and feel excited.

This city has very hot summers and cool winters. This is the favorite tourist destinations for many since it is a beautiful city of arts. The famous tourist attractions are St. Mark’s Basilica, the Piazza San Marco and the Grand Canal. The cinematic industry is the popular Lido di Venezia. Since Venice is a city of canals the transport system is the traditional Gondola. For public transport both buses and water buses named Vaporetti is used. It is quite exciting to have such a kind of transports.

Rome, capital and largest city of Italy, is situated in the Lazio region of central-western portion of Italian Peninsula on the Tiber River. With its population of about 2.7 million people, Rome remains as the most populous city of Italy. Rome is regarded as the founder city of western civilization. With a history spanning more than twenty-five centuries, Rome occupies a significant place in the spreading Christianity even outside its history of Roman Empire. Rome remains as the city of Renaissance and Baroque in character being one of the very few major European cities that escaped World War II relatively unscathed.

Rome is a global city that has a large influence in politics, arts, culture and media. It is a highly developed cosmopolitan city ranks third in Europe in regard to most-visited tourist destination. Every year about 26 million tourists visit the city of Rome, which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Rome is regarded as the second most attractive and exciting cities in the world. Rome has a typical Mediterranean climate, which is comfortable and pleasant from April through June and from mid September to October.
