Nice is the largest city in France situated on the banks of French Riviera. It is a popuplar destination of tourist both for the young and the old. The panoramic view of the famous water front Promenade des Anglais is the major site seeing. Many picturesque houses and boutiques could be found in the old city. The old city is the home of the Daily flower and fruit market named as Cours Saleya. The beaches are stony and full of pebbles. Yet one can enjoy the swim. The main shopping street of Nice is Jean Medecin and it is the home of entertainment and music stores. The local specialty is bread called Socca, chickpea flat bread and Pan Bagnat, a tuna fish sandwich. Fashion goods are considered cheap compared to other European countries. The main square in the city is Place Massena. The architectural history can found at Place Garibaldi. In the heart of the old town is located the square Place Rossetti.
