Reykjavik is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It is the world’ most northern national capital. Population of Reykjavik is 120,000 in city limits and 200,000 in the Greater Reykjavik area. It is the hub of Iceland’ economic and government activities. The city is the only metropolitan area in the entire Iceland country. Reykjavik is a highly modernized capital of one of the most developed countries of world. It has one of the best welfare system and infrastructure in the world. Being located slightly south of the Arctic Circle, the city receives only four hours of daylight on the shortest day in winter. During summer, the nights are almost as bright as days. Reykjavik has been ranked as the top city in the list of ‘World’ 15 most green cities’.

Reykjavik is located in the southwest Iceland. Its coastline comprises of peninsulas, coves, straits and islands. Despite its North Atlantic location, Reykjavik is much warmer than other locations on similar latitude. Average temperature is January is 0 Celsius and rarely drops below -10 Celsius in winter. Summer months are cool with temperatures in the range of 10-15 Celsius. With its per capita car ownership being the highest among the world, Reykjavik is regarded as a car-friendly city. Abundant water and volcanic activity in Iceland have provided Reykjavik with a unique opportunity of using geothermal heating system.

Prague houses one of the world’ most pristine and varied collection of architecture including Renaissance Gothic, Neo-Classical and ultra-modern. Some of the most interesting places in Prague include Old Town with its Square , The Astronomical Clock , Charles Bridge, Old New Synagogue, New Town, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Jewish Cemetery, National Museum, An Observation Tower resembling Eiffel Tower and The Dancing House, among other.

National Museum of Finland is the largest museum in Helsinki, which displays a vast historical collection prehistoric times to 21st century. With its romantic style neo-medieval castle, the museum building itself is a major tourist attraction.
