Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and one of the oldest cities. It is situated on the northern banks of river Tagus. Its rich history is reflected in its renovated palaces, cultural heritage of castle mirror and magnificent churches. Great boulevards and monuments are seen as we move from one place to other.

The legend describes it as the city on seven hills with narrow streets full of art and culture and its cobble-stoned pavements. The national museum of contemporary art, Berardo museum, Calouste Gulbenkian and Cramo Archaeological museum speaks the history of ancient and modern arts. This city finds its importance in the finance, arts, media, commerce, international trade and tourism. Hence this city is called as Alpha world city. It is the wealthiest region in Portugal in terms of per capita income. Lisbon enjoys mild winters and warm to hot summers. It is also a good tourist spot and has many malls and shopping sprees.

One of the largest cities in South Africa where about one and three quarter million people reside is Bamako.  This capitol city of Mali is a beautiful place.  It is located in close proximity to the Niger River.  Bamako has had humans living there sense the dawn of man.  Sense the prehistoric moments of our birth as we are today this place has seen our footprints.  In 1908 this ancient city was mad the capitol of French Sudan.

Many roads in this city are unpaved.  In the rainy season this place gets muddy with puddles of standing water.  This is an inviting breeding ground for mosquitoes.  Normally just pasts, in this part of the world they spread the deadly disease named Malaria.  It is always advised that you get immunity shots and a checkup before leaving your country as a precaution.  Be sure to get checked when you return as well to catch any abnormalities as soon as possible.

The climate in this extremely gorgeous place can reach very hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter.  This extreme change allows for dramatic fall displays.  This old and rustic feeling place has some if it’s original structures still in place.  These structures are a beauty all in themselves but added with all the natural beauty in the town it becomes truly exceptional.  Not a cheap trip but definitely one worth making.  This is a great place for anyone that wants to be in awe their entire vacation.

Is one of the largest cities in North Africa.  This capitol city houses great importance to the North African people.  This city is located on the shoreline of the Mediterranean sea and Libya.  This city welcomes tourists.  With over one and a half million people, Tripoli is a great bustling city.  You will need a visa to get into Tripoli.  They can be purchased at appropriate locations for a moderate amount of money (Between fifty and one hundred fifty dollars).

If you are interested in traveling to Tripoli you can talk to your travel agent about it and get a visa before leaving the country.  This is the best way to ensure you will be getting in before you leave the comfort of home.  You must have an Arabic translation of your details like passports and visas or they will not let you into the country and you will have to get on a plain and fly back out.  Be sure to bring all of these things with you to ensure your entry to Tripoli.

Managua is not only the capitol but also the largest city of Nicaragua.  This city is bustling with people and markets.  This is a great and beautiful tropical vacation place.  One of the most popular things to do while traveling to Managua is backpack.  Backpacking through the Nicaraguan hills and lush jungles is a great way to spend a holiday.

Managua and the rest of Nicaragua is bursting with beaches and hidden places of seclusion.  Managua is a great place to find places to stay for very little money.  Once you get to Managua you can stay there for a moderate amount of time very cheaply.  There are also many clubs and restaurants to eat at in Managua and around Nicaragua.  These places are famed world wide and can be a place to meet, greet, and have the time of your life.  With many colorful people, places, drinks, and meals this place is vibrant and luscious.  There is no way to go wrong going on a solo trip to Managua.

The planes that fly into Managua are generally small and turbulent but provide a great view of Nicaragua as you come on from the angel’s view.  You can also get into and around Central America by bus.  This can be a long ride from place to place but can provide an up close and personal view of the surrounding area and eventually the heart of this great place, Managua.  The climate in this beautiful place may not always be tropical, but is primarily hot.

Not for the weak of skin or heart, Managua is a place of consistent sunshine and rich beauty.  There are over fifteen hundred species to be found in the continent of Central America.  With all that wildlife around a simple walk through the area of Managua should produce a nice creature or two to photograph.  This place can be magical and enchanting and a great get away from all the monotony of American society.  There is no reason to have to want to go to Managua.
