With its humid continental climate, Vienna has warm and pleasant summers and cold winters with low temperatures up to freezing point. Vienna has a very long tradition of its art and culture and thus opera houses, theaters, classical music and arts remain as the primary theme of several festivals, concerts and cultural events.

It is the seat for many multi national corporations such as Unilever, Japan Tobaccos, Microsoft, Motorola and Intel, among other. Belgrade holds several cultural festivals and events including few International festivals. Belgrade is a popular destination for the weekend visitors from Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia particularly for its vibrant and unrestricted nightlife on the banks of Sava and Danube rivers.
