Pristina has a good geographical position, as it lies in the continental crossroads. From Pristina one can see a good view of SAR Mountains that lie several km away in the south of Kosovo. Museum of Kosovo is located in an Austro-Hungarian inspired building that served as the headquarters of Yugoslav National Army. The museum has an extensive collection of archaeological and ethnological artifacts. The clock tower of Pristina dates back to nineteenth century. The city is home to University of Pristina and has an international airport.
