Seville
Seville is capital of southern Spain and is around 2000 years old. This city is full of arts and culture. There is World Heritage site of Moorish and Gothic Buildings are found in the old quarter of Seville. There is a big town hall of the 16th century built in Plateresque style by Diego de Riano. The first tobacco factory in Europe was built here and now it is the University of Seville. There are also several museums parks and gardens in the city. The bull fighting museum is the one of its kind. One can enjoy the tasty seafood made from olive oil from Jaen, Cadiz and Sherry from Jerez de la Frontera. People go aroung enjoying a small dish called as Tapas from one bar to the other. This is popularly known as tapas scene. The mouth watering sweet cakes of this province are polvorones and mantecados. It’s a short cake made with lard, almonds and sugar.

Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and historically called as Constantinople. There is a natural harbor called as Golden Horn. It is the alpha world city. This city has strong historical background being the capital of the Roman Empire. The historic areas are designated as World Heritage Site in 1985 by UNESCO. Istanbul has humidity through out the year and has moderate heat in summer. The buildings show Ottoman architecture but reflect all predecessors’ empires who ruled Istanbul. The other empires are Roman, Genoese and Byzantine. The city has got various synagogues and historic churches. The buildings of the Roman architecture are more durable than the others. The Istanbul archaeological museum is the largest and one of its kinds established in 1881.
Florence Italy

Florence is situated in the region of Tuscany, Italy. It attracts million of tourists and has world heritage site. It is considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Florence is very well known for its monuments, churches, buildings and is called as the cradle of Renaissance. Santa Maria del Fiore is the cathedral known for its architectural elegance and is known as The Dumo. The famous Michelangelo collection is found at La Galleria Dell’Accademia which includes the famous David. There are several galleries and museums which includes Palatine Gallery, Royal Apartments, Modern Art Gallery, Silver Museum, Costume Gallery, Porcelain Museum and Carriages Museum. Bargello is the museum which housed the masterpieces of Michelangelo. There are also many palaces of historic importance. Despite of this the tourist can enjoy many villas, arches, squares and parks. Via Ghibellina is the longest street towards the Bargello and houses numerous palaces, shops and theatres. The most luxurious street is the Via d’Tornabuoni.

Bruges is the capital of the West Flanders of the Belgium Flemish region. Designated as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO the city is egg shaped. This heritage city is also called as The Venice of the North. This city is significant because of its port. The Church of Our Lady is considered as the worlds highest brick towers of the medieval architectural intact. The Michelangelo’s only sculpture the Madonna and Child. Some of the famous buildings are Old St. John’s Hospital, Beguinage, Basilica of the Holy Blood where the relic of the Holy blood will be paraded every year. There are also many cinema theatres and concerts halls. Many music festivals such as Airbag, Ars Musica, summer end festival takes place around the city. Food festicals such as Midwinterfeest and many other takes place every year. Bruges has got 11 unique historical museums in the city.

Dubrovnik is situated on the Adriatic Sea cost, a Croatian city. It is one among the UNESCO world heritage site list. The city’s prosperity lie in its maritime trade. There is a wooded island called as Lokrum located in the bay of Dubrovnik where the legendary Richard the Lion heart left ashore after ship wrecked in 1192. This city is also famous for the theaters.

Budapest is located in the central Hungary surrounded by the settlements of the agglomeration in Pest County. Danube River separates the city into two parts. Climate of Budapest is temperate and transitional. It varies between mild and rainy weather of Transdanubia, continental climate of the flat and sub-Mediterranean weather of the south. 91% of the population is Hungarian and the rest is comprised by Germans, Slovaks, Greeks and Romanian. Budapest has numbers of places of special interests including neo-Gothic Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Castle hill, district and museum, Royal Palace, Matthias Church, Fisherman’ Bastion, statue of Turul (the mythical guardian bird of Hungary), Hungarian State Opera House and the banks of Danube.
